Program Background The Enterprise Development Group over the years has throughly investigated and researched the many reasons for failure, stagnation, lack of profitability and instability in small business. 95% of all reasons for business failure is attributed to lack of business skill acumen, inexperienced leadership and poor management. Great business leaders are well rounded individuals with a clear vision that meets the needs of society. These leaders build grounded leadership teams, implement fair business practices, continue to develop themselves and demonstrate outstanding business judgement.
Program Mission The 12-month business development curriculum is designed to cultivate business owners into mature, self-sufficient, innovative entrepreneurs. Business owners participate in a true to life, hands-on business development process, which allows them to use personal business ideas to build, enhance and develop a viable, profitable company.
Program Description The Entrepreneurial Leadership Development Training Program is a combination of business training and leadership development. Incubator participants focus on one subject per month as they utilize self-developed business details to complete the workshop. Participants are required to attend workshops in a group setting 2 times per month, followed up with one on one evaluations, workshop objectives, homework assignments, workshop outcomes and realistic implementation time-lines.
Program Goals & Objectives Business owners are required to implement the processes, procedures and strategies developed during the workshop within 30 days of completing each workshop.
Participant (Business Owner) Evaluation EDG will monitor the progress of each participant on a monthly basis to ensure successful implementation of curriculum materials & information. Upon completion of each business course, through One on One Business Consultation and Counseling a Small Business Consultant will meet with each business owner to evaluate their progress on a quarterly basis.
